Thus, some cities are stunted while others become a metropolis. Large urban centers become magnets for people & business in general. In many cases, tall buildings & other things can be a corporate or cultural symbol. City planning & Suburban planning takes many shapes & forms. Urban_renewal doesn't always go well, but sometimes it does. The_Death_and_Life_of_Great_American_Cities & cities all over the world are in a constant state of flux. Its just that some cities & larger urban areas grow or evolve at various rates. Dubai in the 1960s showed no signs of having NYC, Chicago & Hong_Kong...
